Nancy Bachmann’s suite movement –“When Pipes Were Trees” – celebrates the natural, organic origins of so much of the music we enjoy. It was inspired by a story Nevada City organist Bill Trabucco tells about a rank of wooden pipes salvaged from an organ in New York that had been built of wood from California trees. He brought it home to CA and added that rank to the instrument featured on this concert program.
Adults: $35 | Students: $10
